Q: With the New Year starting, I set myself some goals and one of them was to lose weight, especially around my tummy. What do you think is the best yoga exercise for this kind of aim? C. Davey – Windsor

A: There are quite a few yoga poses to help with trimming the waist. Side twists and forward bends help massage the organs and remove toxins. Try the Maricyasana (seated twist). It is a perfect way to keep you motivated with your goal of staying in tip-top condition. The below is a variation of the classical Maricyasana pose but if practised regularly you can reap many health regards.
