Michelle CPD photoJust two years after Bliss Yoga began with six students in her attic, near Birmingham, Michelle Nicklin opened a 2,500 square foot yoga and Pilates studio in her hometown. Fast-forward 15-months and she launched an academy to train 25-teachers a year on the Yoga Alliance UK 200 hour course – the only accredited course of its kind in the West Midlands.

At times it has been a roller coaster! Michelle invested £20,000 of her savings to realise her dreams. The studio currently has 18 teachers, over 500 regular students and nearly 2,000 babies born from their pre-natal classes alone.

Now with an established range of workshops, Oxfordshire and Andalucian retreats, courses and classes in nearby Sutton Coldfield, Michelle is running CPD courses for yoga teachers on how to Make a Great Living Teaching Yoga.

“Our yoga is and always will be for everyone. It is based around encouraging people to expand beyond the physical practice and explore the benefits of meditation and deepen their practice by providing experiences such as our workshops and retreats and popular Yoga Foundations course. For me, the mind is as important as the body. We are aligned to more traditional thinking around Hatha yoga. Our monthly meditation classes are incredibly popular and we hold regular free chanting wellbeing sessions.

”Students feel Bliss Yoga is authentic. “Coming to Bliss Yoga has changed my life,” said a lady in her 60’s whilst at one of our teacher-trainers. “Spending whole weekends with like-minded people immersed in all things yoga is a kamagra jelly. I can’t wait to pass on what I have learned.

” The next teacher-training course starts in September 2016. Michelle is also running a day workshop: ‘Make a Success of Your Yoga Career: Anything is Possible’ in November.
