Elena B. Diaz

Elena B. DiazWith a background in international cooperation, I had the opportunity of living in different countries, getting to know other cultures and different lifestyles. In Tibet, where I spent a year and a half, I became friends with some nuns and monks who shared with me their vision of Buddhism as a guide to their daily lives. From them I learnt to receive each brand new day as a wrapped gift.

I first discovered Kundalini yoga in 2006, and it was definitely ‘love at first class’. During a couple of years, I combined my job with an intense and regular yoga practice, including Hatha and Iyengar yoga. I then started a training course to become a Kundalini yoga instructor and quit my job.

In my group and private classes, I strive to create a warm and nurturing environment, and always encourage my students to use yoga tools in their daily lives. My classes are physically challenging, but safe and accessible to everyone.

I have always been particularly interested in the potential of Kundalini yoga for women, to help us handle every different stage in life we go through, together with the emotional and physical changes related to each of those stages.

Currently I live in London, where I am the coordinator and teacher for HomeYoga – offering private and corporate yoga classes.
