David JonesDavin Jones

Davin teaches with confidence using anatomical terms and clear instruction to describe the correct alignment through the yogasana practice. He has achieved flexibility, strength and mental clarity through his personal practice and is able to teach yoga to practitioners ranging from beginners to advanced levels.

Davin completed his teacher training RYS 500hr in Rihikesh, India. Due to his level of dedication and natural ability Davin was invited back to Rishikesh, India where he completed an Ashtanga internship and accredited yoga practitioners as teachers at 200 and 500 level.

His yoga background is based on the traditional styles of Hatha, Sivananda, Ashtanga and Iyengar.  Davin’s passion for yoga has given him motivation, inspiration and patience. He truly believes in the Kanga yoga philosophy and believes yoga will change your life, bring health and inner peace.

He encourages practitioners to be humble and graceful during yoga and is focused on guiding them through their practice safely, with careful adjustments through the use of breath. Davin’s yoga journey has provided him with a new direction in life, and would love to spread the knowledge and essence of yoga throughout the world. He continues to share the teachings of Kanga Yoga, leading international Yoga Teacher Trainings, presentations, live demonstrations and courses throughout the UK.

He was taught Hatha and Iyengar yoga through his teacher and good friend Yogi Ravi Bisht, whilst also being guided through the Ashtanga method by close friend Yogi Siddharth. Carlos Mendez, student of the late Kumar Pallana played a vital role in teaching Davin the art of handstands and breath control. Davin would also like to take this opportunity to mention mentors and teachers Swami Abhishek Chaitanya of Rishikesh, for his wisdom and guidance as well as Yogini and teacher Lolita Webelman, who helped guide Davin with competence and encouragement through his earlier stages of his yoga journey.
