PHB Ethical Beauty is a family run business on a mission to change the way people think about their beauty product choices. Home to the world’s larg-est collection of organic, vegan and Halal certified beauty products, PHB’s range is handmade in the UK and is also certified cruelty free. In February PHB announced the launch of their charity called The OneLove Foundation. PHB are donating 20% of profits to the charity to help improve the lives of people and animals in the UK and around the world.
“We have created the OneLove Foundation based on the belief that it’s vital to share what we have, to give back, to help others and to care for the earth. All people and creatures living on this earth are interrelated and dependent on each other”, says 25-year-old founder Rose Brown, daughter of UB40 drummer and songwriter James Brown.
“Through our OneLove Foundation PHB will fund projects to help people, especially children, and animals in the UK and around the world. We will also partner with established charities and projects to donate and raise awareness about their worthy causes.”
“We have already supported national and interna-tional projects including Orbis’ Vision For Zambia appeal and Sense’s Touch Base Project which sup-ports Deafblind people in the UK, as well as donating to a number of local food banks. We have encouraged PHB customers to support these projects too and we have had a wonderful response. Without our customer’s loyalty and support for the PHB brand we would never have been able to re-alise this dream.”
“We believe that as a society we are on the brink of big changes. We want PHB to show that successful businesses can be run in an ethical way. At the heart of our business is a desire to serve and benefit people and the planet, rather than a desire to make profit.”
