Pedal for Purpose East Africa 2017 will be a journey undertaken by the two founders of the Pedal for Purpose Project. The two young ladies will cycle the entire route from Kenya through to Cape Town! Cycle participants will be invited to connect with them on different legs of the journey! Sponsors will be invited to follow their journey!
Emma Bonnici, is the founder of Kanga Yoga, an international yoga teacher and event manager based in the UK, Africa and India.Lysianne Thomas is a performer, community co-ordinator and fitness enthusiast based in the UK. Both strong advocates of “If you believe in the magic you will see the magic.” Friends, business partners and cousins – these ladies are incredibly grateful and eager to lead the journey of a lifetime. Experience the East Coast of Africa, its beauty and diversity; whilst inspiring the nation, empowering local communities and giving back to Africa by raising funds for a diverse selection of foundations in the countries they travel through.
Promoting clean and renewable energy is one of the main focuses throughout the journey, as well the ultimate aim ‘to inspire, to empower, to uplift and unite’.
