Rachel has been practising and studying yoga, since she was 15 years old and has trained under certified teachers from all over the world.
Through her dance, modelling and acting background, yoga first came into her life while she was touring around Holland in a Shakespeare play. She experienced a transformative ride through physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges and credits her yoga practice with providing her the tools to consciously navigate life’s obstacles.
She decided to leave her modelling and acting life behind and studied multiple yoga traditions, explored different yoga teacher trainings and finally came across Iyengar yoga.
fascination with body alignment has led Rachel to a continuous study of Iyengar yoga, resulting in qualifying as an Iyengar teacher, which requires a profound knowledge of the body and its healthy alignment. She believes that this yoga method is the safest, most beneficial form of yoga.
Rachel teaches yoga classes in the beautiful Surrey Hills and has her own yoga studio in a picturesque village in Peaslake, where she teaches her yoga classes with passion, fun, and lots of care for her students.
