Satish Kumar.ResurgenceSummerCampHosted by internationally celebrated eco pioneer Satish Kumar, the Editor-in-Chief of Resurgence & Ecologist, Resurgence Summer Camp features inspirational speakers and change makers like Paul Mobbs, environmental investigator and campaigner; renowned comic poet Matt Harvey; environmentalist Nicola Peel; author, organic farmer and activist Julian Rose; ‘Laughing Yogi’ Joe Hoare; and Alex Nunn of Action for Happiness.  The event also brings a vibrant and eclectic mix of music, dance and performance, as well as wellbeing, sound and sustainability workshops, and delicious vegetarian food.

Satish Kumar says: “Billed as ‘Resurgence in Action’ our small, friendly festival alternative in a beautiful eco haven in rural Worcestershire, offers a relaxing, thought provoking and highly enjoyable weekend with simple tips for living a more sustainable, healthy life, in harmony with nature.  Come and join us for a direct experience of Resurgence & Ecologist’s message of care for the environment and discover inspiration for living a more meaningful life.”

Proceeds from ticket sales to the camp go to the Resurgence Trust, the UK educational charity offering environmental education through the pages of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine and related websites (;, and workshops where readers and environmentalists share ideas for working together for a better future.

Susan Clark, former Editor of Resurgence & Ecologist Magazine, says: “What I discovered during my five years working for Resurgence & Ecologist is that words on a page can trigger ideas but sitting with like-minded people who share those ideas and concerns can trigger strong feelings that make you want to act on those concerns and do your bit. If you too are a part of this mindset then you already understand why the food that’s served at Resurgence Summer Camp is vegetarian and why music plays a key part in connecting and uplifting those who come.  The camp is a fantastic opportunity to experience ‘Resurgence in Action’.”
