Sesame Cookies

If you wonder what it is like to have sesame seeds in cookies… Well, they are not really sweet, but the sesame seeds adds nutty savoury flavour. It’s a perfect balance between the two, and the crisp texture is just too addictive! No sugar, no butter, no flour, no eggs…So simple and so tasty. Perfect for breakfast or snack. Plus sesame is great source of calcium.
gr. almond flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
200 gr. agave nectar or honey
200 gr. tahini
1 tablespoon olive oil/grapeseed oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
sesame seeds

In a large bowl, combine almond flour, salt and baking soda In a smaller bowl, blend together agave, tahini, oil and vanilla Blend the dry ingredients into the wet Form the dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the sesame seeds Place on a baking paper lined baking sheet and flatten Bake at 200° for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown Cool on baking sheet.

Sesame Cookies

If you like your cookies crunchy, leave them out after baking. If you are looking for cookies with a chewier centre then store them in an airtight container.
