There’s Something About Bali: Ubud’s Top Hangout Spots

If you’ve spent enough time in the yoga world—or seen the movie Eat, Pray, Love—you have probably heard about the magical island of Bali. This sacred spot is a well known energy vortex and has even been referred as the world’s Purification Center. Bali’s artistic and cultural capital, Ubud, has become a particularly coveted destination for yoga and wellness holidays. This jungle paradise serves as a sanctuary for health conscious jet-setters, featuring an abundance of raw vegan restaurants, yoga studios, eco-friendly hangouts and healing centers. As one of Indonesia’s only Hindu islands, Bali has its own distinct flavor and shares many similarities with India. With good vibes, friendly locals and beautiful sights, there’s something about Bali. Here are a few of our favorite spots in Ubud.
