Zoe Goodyear Yoga is a new yoga studio in Andover, Hampshire. The studio was born out of the need for somewhere to call home for the local Ashtanga yoga community which Zoe had been building for a few years prior. Tucked away on a quiet industrial estate is Andover’s fastest growing gym, Fevo, where Zoe had been teaching yoga since it was founded. When Fevo expanded in 2015 Zoe took the opportunity to take on the upstairs of the new unit full time, and transformed it from drab office space into a beautiful home for yoga.
As you walk up the stairs the scent of incense greets you. Inside you discover a purpose built yoga space with stunning white oak floors, heating and air con, and art by local yoga teacher and artist Jane Borley. With space for just 15 students the studio also maintains an intimate community feel.
The studio expanded soon after opening and now offers a variety of yoga styles and classes with only the best handpicked local teachers. Zoe felt it was important to provide yoga which maintained depth, tradition, and authenticity. This is evident in the classes, teachers, and overall experience on offer. Here you can find Ashtanga yoga in both Led and Mysore style classes as well as beginner’s courses and early morning selfpractice sessions. Also on offer at the studio are Sivananda, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Pregnancy yoga classes, as well as regular workshops, including guest teachers, and group meditation. Private yoga tuition is also available as well as Thai Yoga Massage and Reiki treatments.
