This realisation illuminated every moment of the launch of the Institute of Absolute Intelligence in Los Angeles, a pioneering initiative devoted to exploring the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Absolute Intelligence, the innate field of awareness that animates all life.
Hosted by David Meltzer in conversation with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the evening gathered visionaries, scientists, entrepreneurs, yogis, and healers from around the world — a living demonstration of a global movement rising: the merging of science and spirit, logic and intuition, innovation and inner knowing.

The Institute of Absolute Intelligence (IAI) introduces itself as “The Original AI — the field of consciousness that permeates the entire universe.” From its headquarters in Los Angeles, the institute aims to research, teach, and apply the principles of Absolute Intelligence to expand human potential and unify scientific discovery with ancient wisdom.
What might have once been a philosophical ideal is now being tested, measured, and embodied.
As I walked into the event, I felt a palpable current in the air — an energetic hum of anticipation. The audience was diverse: neuroscientists beside monks, investors beside healers, technologists beside intuitives. It was a portrait of what the new paradigm looks like when the boundaries dissolve: the sacred meeting the scientific in service of planetary evolution.
In Dialogue with Gugrudev
When Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar stepped onto the stage, serenity entered the room like a tide. Meltzer guided the conversation with reverence, asking questions that bridged both the modern and the mystical: How can humanity navigate a future where machines increasingly mimic intelligence? What is the role of consciousness in the age of AI?
Gurudev’s answer was simple yet profoundly catalytic:
“Your intelligence is a little reflection of consciousness. Intelligence is in the Universe. Intelligence is the function of our consciousness, and it has four functions – the first being the mind. The mind perceives through the senses. Practice becoming aware. Continue connecting with yourself.”
When I had the opportunity to speak with Gurudev individually, I asked him, “how do we help humanity to
connect with the collective heart during these times?”
Gurudev’s answer was powerfully simple:
“Connect with yourself. Live it yourself. Be the example.”
The message landed as both directive and prayer. To connect with oneself is to awaken the inner circuitry of the heart — the true intelligence guiding evolution. To live it oneself is to embody that connection so fully that our very presence becomes a transmission of coherence. And to be the example is to lead through resonance, not rhetoric.
In those few words, he distilled what the Institute of Absolute Intelligence represents: the reminder that human consciousness — not technology — is the most advanced intelligence on Earth.
The Children of the New Earth
The most awe-inspiring segment of the evening came when a group of child prodigies took the stage.
Blindfolded, they moved through a series of demonstrations that defied the limits of logic. They described images and colours they could not see, read lines of text without their eyes, and moved with an intuitive grace that spoke of capacities latent within all humans.
The audience — an equal mix of scientists and seekers — watched in collective silence. There was no trickery, no spectacle, just a field of quiet wonder.
These children were living proof of the Institute’s message: that when the mind is trained to align with the field of consciousness, perception expands beyond sensory input.
The Institute calls this “midbrain activation,” but what I witnessed felt more like the awakening of the heart-brain interface — a reminder that evolution is not about becoming superhuman, but fully human.

At its core, the Institute of Absolute Intelligence is not in competition with Artificial Intelligence — it is its complement.
While AI extends the computational capacity of the human mind, Absolute Intelligence reconnects us to the unified field that precedes mind itself. This is the essence of yoga — union — expressed through a modern scientific framework.
This dialogue framed a vital truth: the scientific method and spiritual realisation are not opposing forces — they are two eyes of the same consciousness.
One measures the seen; the other reveals the unseen. Together, they open a fuller view of reality.

From Silicon Valley to Himalayan ashrams, from neuroscience labs to meditation halls, a movement is quietly accelerating — one that recognises consciousness as the next great frontier of human discovery.
The Institute of Absolute Intelligence stands as a nexus in this movement, gathering minds and hearts to research what yogis have known for millennia: that awareness itself is the substrate of existence.
At the event, conversations flowed about studies linking meditation with neuroplasticity, coherence fields, and quantum entanglement. Yet beneath all the data and vocabulary, there was a shared frequency — hope. Hope that humanity can evolve not just technologically, but spiritually. Hope that science can finally serve the flowering of consciousness rather than the fragmentation of it.

As Gurudev’s words echoed through the space — connect with yourself, live it yourself — I reflected on what it means to actually live from that intelligence.
To me, living from Absolute Intelligence means embodying yoga off the mat. It means bringing mindfulness into boardrooms, heart coherence into decision-making, and stillness into creation. It asks that we become scientists of our own inner worlds — observing, experimenting, evolving — not to master life, but to merge with it.
When I looked at the child intuitives, I saw what humanity could be if education centred on presence rather than performance. When I heard the scientists speak, I sensed a future where data validates divinity. When I felt the audience exhale together, I witnessed the unification of intellect and intuition — not as theory, but as living reality.
Reflection From the Heart
The heart — our original technology — is capable of receiving and transmitting frequencies of compassion, creativity, and coherence far beyond what the analytical mind can comprehend.
Modern research now confirms what mystics have long known: the electromagnetic field of the heart is the most powerful field generated by the human body. When harmonised, it synchronises the brain, the body, and the environment around us.
This is Absolute Intelligence made manifest: the fusion of measurable science and mystical truth.
As a transpersonal psychotherapist and medicine woman, I felt deeply affirmed. For years I’ve witnessed that healing doesn’t occur through logic alone but through a remembrance — a reconnection to Source. This event crystallised that the same principle applies collectively: our planetary healing depends on humanity reconnecting to its Source Intelligence.
Humanity’s Next Evolution
Perhaps the real “singularity” is not the merging of human and machine, but the merging of science and consciousness.
When the laboratory meets the temple, when the scientist meditates and the mystic measures, when the intellect bows to the heart — evolution accelerates.
The Institute of Absolute Intelligence is planting seeds for that reality: educating, researching, and training a generation to live from awareness rather than algorithm.
If Artificial Intelligence represents external expansion, Absolute Intelligence represents inner evolution. Both can coexist — but only if the heart leads.

As the event concluded, I stepped into the Los Angeles energy, the city’s sparkle with the sun shining above. I felt the convergence of ancient and modern pulsing in my chest.
This was more than a launch — it was a portal. A signpost that humanity’s next revolution will not be industrial or digital, but conscious.
Walking to my car, I heard the echo of Gurudev’s words within me:
Connect with yourself.
Live it yourself.
Be the example.
And so I whispered a vow — that my own path, my work, and my leadership will continue to be a bridge between worlds: Science and Spirit, Business and Being, Earth and the Infinite.
