RESURRECTION OF THE PRIESTESS: THE AWAKENING EGYPT A DIVINE FEMININE PILGRIMAGE

I have recently returned from an epic journey through the ancient land of Kemet (Egypt) where 17 women made a pilgrimage to remember and reclaim aspects of themselves that have been lost…perhaps for lifetimes…until now. This pilgrimage has been calling to my soul for a few years, and it was finally time to create this container as an invitation for women ready for a next level portal into truth embodiment. I’ve been guiding retreats and immersions for over a decade, each one imbued with its own potency, but this journey was different. I co-led this trip with my beloved sister, Phoenix White ~ a powerful Medicine Woman, Speaker and Author. The origin seed for this pilgrimage sprouted in the Sacred Valley of Peru last year. The idea lit something in us that had been dormant for quite some time. Phoenix and I spent months visioning and curating the energy for The Awakening Egypt. During this co-weaving, we began tapping into the codes of each temple and sacred site to bring forth the Initiations and Rites of Passage ~ in addition to intentionally crafting the flow of energy and how that would be emanated through each place we were staying (Aswan, Luxor and Cairo).

The foundation of this container was woven out of pure Divine Feminine Liberation energy…which meant a lot was going to come up for all of us. Any residue of misalignment, sister wound, grief and resistance to our truth was going to emerge for the purpose of our soul liberation ~ the medicine of remembrance pulsing through our veins, awakening dormant DNA ready to be activated. Many times, our souls say “yes” to experiences while our human minds, egos and bodies are simply catching up. It’s how we fulfill our mission during this accelerated time on Earth where old, outdated timelines are collapsing and systemic structures are disintegrating to be rebuilt into sustainable systems ~ systems based on ecosystem consciousness and the highest timelines available.

It is The Feminine Heart/Womb that births new worlds into existence. These mystery schools of wisdom, learning, activation and embodiment have been lost after thousands of years of persecution, exile, fear, shame and erasure. The Resurrection of The Priestess is the remembrance of our true nature as the collective feminine…that we are both the water and the flame…here to create the flow of limitlessness, and in the same breath, alchemize the illusion of fear. That’s just what we did in Egypt this April. This trip was not a retreat ~ it was a multi-dimensional initiation in every sense. In the face of fear, exhaustion and even oppositional energy, our soul mission stood unwavering. I’m so proud of these warrior women!

In essence, this pilgrimage is not for the faint of heart or those who seek an easy breezy form of spirituality where it’s comfortable to skate on the surface…it was the finest warrior’s work…and we had a damn good time fulfilling the mission! We remembered that expansion is our true nature, and this happens through the intelligence of the life/death/ rebirth process. Just ask the butterfly how it got its wings. The magic of Pachamama (Mother Earth) is our greatest, most accessible teacher of how to live in harmony with our true power and beauty. The teachings of Mother Earth summon us daily and it becomes our daily practice to pause and listen. Presence allows us to receive these tremendous gifts of wisdom and knowledge.

And in the wise words of Maria Sabina, Mazatec Shaman & Poet, “Heal yourself with beautiful love, and always remember… you are the medicine.”

The women who joined us came from all around the US, bringing their own medicine and magic to the mix. One of my favourite aspects of trips like this is the mandala of co-creation that happens when we come together in a potent group setting. I said in our opening circle that our souls chose a long ago to meet in this moment in time, to embark on this incredible work together. This isn’t just about what each person receives, it’s about the sacred reciprocity of giving and receiving. In my Peruvian Q’ero lineage, we call sacred reciprocity, Ayni. We gave to the sacred sites and land of Kemet, offering activations and ceremonies to awaken The Priestess archetypal energy ready to be reborn and reembodied.

The ancestors and guardians of the land welcomed us with ignited hearts. The Priestesses and Goddesses of the temples bowed in our ceremonies, tears of remembrance cleansing the collective heart. In one of the most powerful ceremonies we had at Abu Simbel, an epic site of two temples built by Egyptian King Ramses II, one of the messages that came through was “not in this lifetime” ~ a direct message from our ancestors that the work of The Priestess, The Medicine Woman, The Goddess, The Divine Mother will not be stopped in this lifetime. It is THIS lifetime where what has been exiled becomes resurrected, reintegrated and lived out.

This lifetime is our return to wholeness. This path of return takes a level of resilience, courage and warriorship that is in equal balance to the surrender, flow and softness of the feminine. A complete embodiment of The Divine Feminine is both. If you are unwilling to burn away the illusion of your survival fear, scarcity, fear of being fully seen, competitive patterns, judgement, etc., then the picture is incomplete. And of course, this is a process of unlayering, intentionally integrating the pieces as we go. The Awakening Egypt is a portal of accelerated transformation and reclamation ~ a call to those Priestesses who are ready to dedicate themselves to their soul mission…who are here to authentically walk the path of their full liberation. It will be an annual pilgrimage offering.

As I’ve been sifting through the layers of my own integration (of course, the mind seeks to put meaning to it all!), I realise that it will all unveil and blossom in it’s own time. Surrender becomes the practice of integration. BE with what is, just as it is. There are no words to truly encompass what we’ve been through together as a tribe of divine feminine warrior women… and the work that we did in multiple dimensions. This is where intuition, faith and trust come in as well. These are essential elements to the daily practice of life…especially as we interface with the ineffable. When we surrender to where we’re being led from this deeply embodied place, beyond cognitive understanding, we know our soul is guiding. And when the soul guides, magic happens.

The truth is there’s a global Priestess Resurrection happening on Earth. All the rich and layered aspects of the Divine Feminine are emerging to be healed, reclaimed and embodied. Phoenix and I bow with honour and reverence to each woman who followed the call of The Awakening Egypt this year ~ each an origin seed for what’s to come ~ and the awakening of this ongoing lineage.
